this is the dash where of course the steering wheel is yet to be placed. but yea find what needs to go on it and ill do. Are you guys happy with the look of it

wheel refined

refined the steering wheel for a more stylised hub, led panel, buttons intergrated into the securing arms. the idea is to keep the interior very smart and stylised, and very simple. it also shares the form of the head rest, i thought continuity was best for an interior.

hey guys, i will be in the city tomorrow working on my folio for the final Hodlen interview. I will probably be there all day and all night so if you want we can meet for a bit and touch base on what to do over the weekend. The seating idea is great Beardy, Im just wonderring where the secondary paramedic sits now. Give me a call when you get a chance we can discuss some interior stuff coz i tried to ring you today and there was no answer.

her is some more pics.

front seat

hey guys i also worked on the interior front cab seat hope you guys like it. the steering wheel is yet to be built. but i feel it looks quite good. the back rest and foot plate pedles adjust and there is storage under and in the back of the chair. cheers beardy

exterior variation

variation of the exterior design, higher, less underneath the belt line - this one isnt carrying the underbelly storage system. more agressive styling, coloring and larger windows for easy viewing. the belt line is designed in such a way as to encourage fast movement and perhaps float through water, and also means it is much more agile on certain terrains.

Phone Numbers!

How silly of my not to ask for everyones phone numbers, I shouldve done it a while back.

My phone number is 0402-665-785, you can reach me any time on it. Please add yours to the comment section, this will be great for quick chats about new updates to the blog.

If we could continue posting some work onto the blog so we can collaborate that would be great. I may not be in class tomorrow (13/09/06) as I will be attending my uncles funeral. I'll do my best to come into class to show what I have, but I'm not 100% yet as to how ill be feeling tomorrow.

In terms of presenting concepts, lets go with that and post them up on the blog for discussion. If we can all meet for a chat friday that would be great.

exterior thought

exterior idea i came up with while sketching away. the high belt line and low shoulder line gives the image of lots of room inside the vehicle. some dynamic curves below the suicide doors allow for a step up to the doors, so the vehicle doesnt need lots of railing along the floor lines. Quite bulky, but i'll work it and make it look a little more agile, the vehicle is small enough, but can fit everything in it.

I also thought we could have bolt on seats to the rear section, because it is a flat back kinda like that sketch i did a while back with the seats in the boot.

Exterior

Exterior Look

hey guys i just drew a quick front and back view of what the vehicle could look like. I just gathered all the ideas from last class that everyone discussed and put them into the design.

Is this the style of vehicle everyone kinda wants. Cause i was thinking of getting down a rough image and then we can add and change extra bits as we all want. I mean this is not the end design...cheers beardy.

Seating

Exploration into the idea that we dont actually need seating that folds out of the walls when the walls themselves can act as seating. This will mean less parts that need to me moved and used - and also means that we can use the notion of hosing down the interior. Ill add more as i do it.
